Integration is not embodiment

Integration is not embodiment that is what Betsy Milne of Luscious Hustle said to us in the 1 month magnetic mastermind I did this past November. It really struck a chord with me. How many times do we say we are embodying something but truly we are just integrating into our lives it's not fully embodied yet?

You are still learning your new habits during integration you will have setbacks embodiment is when you can truly walk your talk, the new operating system.

Let's Break it down

During integration you are still learning your new habits you will have setbacks, you're a new puppy learning the lay of the land.

Embodiment is when you can truly walk your talk, it's your new operating system. You have practiced these habits and are so second nature you forget there is another way to operate.

For myself I have been embracing the winter season since 2017 now. I have been going outside in some capacity during the winter months for going on 4 years now. It is how I've learned to truly embrace the cold winter months. I also picked up cross-country skiing and occasionally snowboard. I have found ways to truly embody my love of the winter months.

4 years ago I was still learning I was integrating the daily walks, cross-country skiing maybe 2-3 times the entire winter season. Now I've already cross-country skied after our first big snowfall. It's something I embody but also love doing. It's not something I have to think long and hard about doing there is a natural flow to it in my day.

What are you integrating right now?

What do you want to integrate this season? You know I'm a big fan of seasonal living that's why I chose the IG handle of @seasonallivingmamas

It is something I've done for many years now and embody. I even wrote a book about it. I feel many of us when we are integrating forget the seasonal shifts that occur. As this episode is airing it's winter solstice my favorite holiday. I love the winter solstice and celebrate it with my family. I've recorded several podcasts about my traditions if you want to tune into one I will put links in the show notes.

What I embody changes with the seasons. I take time to rest more in the winter, it's a time of creative energy. I have different practices I embody at this time of the year. More yoga nidra, meditation, reading, puzzles less driving to my favorite trail every chance I get, or taking 2-3 hour walks. What I needs shifts.

What are the areas you want to focus on this winter season?

What do you want to embody?

  • A more intentional lifestyle?
  • Deeper connection with yourself
  • More mindful movement practices
  • Meditation
  • Journaling
  • Understanding how to listen to your body

I have found the winter months the perfect time to explore the deeper topics with yourself. It's a time to rest and go inwards. If you give yourself that space often during the spring season you have that pop of energy, burst of ideas and feel ready to plant the seeds you've been dreaming of during the colder, darker winter months.

Wanting to learn some Ayurvedic winter teachings?

Join us for the 5 month Seasonal Living Collective experience. It is designed to help you become more in-tune with yourself, and help you connect to your inner magical medicine. You will learn how to connect to nature, your inner goddess, the moon, your divine self, and how to balance your ojas (vital energy).

I wanted to create this program to help women become more confident in listening to our intuition by using tools that have been at our disposal for centuries. In recent years we’ve forgotten our connection to the powers that lie deep in our bones and I want to help you awaken to your powers once again.

You can expect to become confident in how to tap into your intuition, how to use the lunar cycle to connect you deeper to yourself, what we can learn from those that came before us. You will have new tools that will help remember who you are and help you evolve into the next version of you.

The Winter Seasonal Living Collective is needed because so many of us are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and unsure of what's next. We have forgotten how powerful we are when we listen to our intuition and how we can stay in alignment with ourselves to reach our highest calling and potential, no matter what is going on with the outside world. Whether that be to run your own business, to have more freedom in your daily life, to be an amazing mom that helps shape future generations from falling into the same patterns.

It is a powerful program that will guide you to live a more grounded, aligned, and inspired life. This program is for the woman who feels lost in who she is, the woman who wants to feel more connected to herself and her power, the woman who wants to utilize nature and the moon to open new doors in her life. It’s for the free spirited woman who might feel as if her wings have been clipped the last few years and is ready to fly once more.

If you feel called to join us read more about the program here. We officially start on Feb. 7th!
