Why live a cyclical life?
My journey has had many twists & turns…
Lost. Unhappy. On auto-pilot. And... Stuck in the Should's of Life.
Looking back I felt lost and not quite sure how to start living a more intentional life.
I know how hard it is to feel called to soften your edges
Now my mission is to help women live a more cyclical life
Sound too good to be true?

The 4 Major Phases
I will share a tweak a client has made to help live more in alignment with their cycles.
Menstrual Phase
This is the phase to go inwards, rest and reflect.
Katie, a mom of 4 was running on fumes. She has ADHD, large blood clots during the bleeding phase and no time for her. A tweak we made to her routine was to rest in particular when she had no energy during the menstrual phase. When 3 of her 4 kids were in school we added a yoga nidra practice to her afternoon routine. Her youngest daughter got to watch a 30 minute cartoon, while Katie got to relax. It only took a few months before her large blood clots (bigger than a quarter) were gone.
Follicular Phase
A time you might have energy, feel full of life and tap into your inner creative side.
Samantha, a teacher who found herself entering the follicular phase with a vata imbalance. The menstrual phase is associated with the vata dosha. If you go a bit too hard during that phase the follicular phase might feel a big unhinged. Now is not the time for Samantha to stop her mindfulness practices as she often did. She would often do a more high intensity workout, and found herself having an afternoon espresso which further hyped up her mood. A few tweaks we made were doing yoga vs high intensity at this phase for a few months, making sure she went to bed at the same time no matter her cycle phase so she wouldn't skip her meditation practice and have an afternoon tea vs an espresso. Anytime you're dealing with a vata imbalance it takes a few months so being consistent is key.
Ovulation Phase
A time to be seen, do your speaking gigs, run meetings, record podcasts. Your energy is magnetic right now.
Lisa an entrepreneur who struggles with endometriosis was not enjoying her ovulation phase. Haritaki is an Ayurvedic herb that has been proven to help reduce endo pain. She started taking this supplement daily. She did weekly yoni steams & castor oil pack rotations minus the menstrual phase. Endo is a vata disorder in Ayurveda and apana vayu is flowing in reverse. We also had various vata reducing practices. I worked with Lisa for a year and she had no more painful ovulation or even painful periods after the practices we implemented.

Luteal Phase
This phase is the longest phase of your cycle and can be broken into 2 parts. You might have higher energy at the start of the luteal phase and the second half is the lower energy part of the cycle. A great time to finish up tasks, complete to do lists and start to say no to things you don't really want to do.
Robin, a 44 year old mom of two was experiencing severe PMS symptoms the week before her period. She would gain weight, have severe mood swings, and would break out like her teenage daughter. A few practices we implemented to help ease her luteal phase symptoms were- stress management. She is an entrepreneur, a lawyer who has been struggling with consciousness the last few years. We worked on mapping out her stress cycles to see what time of day and what her triggers are that cause her stress response. I also gave her a new morning routine consisting of meditation, yoga, and pranayama to help her ease her mind and body. She has been a client personal client for many years before we switched into the new practices. She found relief after a few months of adopting her new flow.
