Welcome to the Peaceful Power Podcast I’m your host Andrea Claassen. Today I will be discussing what changes you can make by starting a workout routine.
Today is the first solo show of the new year happy 2017!
Starting a workout routine is usually on the top of many people’s minds at this time of the year. I won’t to help those who have been working out consistently take their fitness level up a notch.
When we think of goals let’s start with 1 week goals. What do you want to accomplish this upcoming week? It can be get all of your workouts in, it might be plan your workouts for the upcoming week, maybe attempt to practice crow pose? What goal could you accomplish in one week. Notice attempting crow pose does not mean you will be able to do it by the end of the week. Though kudos if you do!
After you have your 1 week goal mapped out let’s take it to a 1 month goal. What is your 1 month goal? Maybe you want to master crow pose in a month. Or maybe 20 pushups on your toes. Create a workout calendar to outline what exactly you want to accomplish this coming month.
After you have your month goal let’s take it up a notch what is your year goal? What is your goal for 2017? What is your overarching thing driving you? Maybe you want to become a yogi, maybe running your first 5k, or half marathon? Maybe it is to consistently workout the entire year. Think about what you want to happen in 2017. That will help you set monthly goals geared to help you reach your big goal this year.
What changes do you think can happen with a consistent workout routine in your life? A new found confidence, meeting new friends, or maybe changing careers? I have seen all of those things happen with people who have had a consistent routine.
