Workout & Movie Review: A Christmas Miracle⁣ ⁣ You can also do this core workout for 3 sets of 15 reps as you watch the movie or any movie for that matter 🙋🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Background on the movie⁣ A single mom just moved to a new city and is in her dream career as a journalist. She has a tough boss and is getting help from a co-worker on how to get her work published. Once more this movie had me super distracted after the initial 20 minutes.⁣ ***Also if you’re not familiar with Hallmark movies if they don’t hook you in, within the first 20 minutes it is your average Hallmark Christmas movie. Nothing wrong with that just know with 40 new movies most will be average.⁣ There is not a ton of extra content to write for this as the movie was pretty slow moving and not a big catalyst or problem they were trying to get over which I think made this movie feel like such a slow movie.⁣ ⁣ What worked?⁣ I liked the premise of reuniting the dad and daughter back together. The journalist found her true story and found out the fake story. I enjoyed the premise of the movie but it moved really slow.⁣ ⁣ What didn’t work?⁣ The movie really moved slow and didn’t really have that many Christmas feels. It moved along like a movie set in Christmas time but didn’t have a tone of Christmas activities that we are accustomed to in the Hallmark movies.⁣ ⁣ 3 Takeaways⁣ 1. Slow moving Hallmark movies are like watching paint drying…⁣ 2. 40 movies might have been a little too much for the Hallmark channel to make this year not all have been good.⁣ 3. At least you can still workout or if you choose to make this a drinking game have a glass or two of wine as you watch the movies.⁣ #hallmarkworkouts

The Mistletoe Secret Workout & Review ⁣or you can do the leg day workout 3 sets of 10 reps!⁣ ⁣⁣ What worked?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I enjoyed the idea of a travel personality coming into town to do a story on a small town Christmas. I like the twist with the personality not doing any of his writing and his lead writer falls for the small town diner owner. This is a movie you can go to this holiday season if you want those holiday feels with about any scene. I know Kellie Pickler was not a fan favorite in last years movie I didn't think she was that bad. This year they put quite a few strong supporting actors to help her carry the movie. So if you weren't a fan of her's and were avoiding the movie because of her acting, I would check it out.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ What didn't work?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ A few things that I don't is when the leading writer, Alex didn't share with Aria (the diner owner) early on that he was actually the leading writer on the travel show not Sterling. It just seems as if in an adult relationship you wouldn't wait as long to disclose that to someone you like. The other side of the coin that Aria didn't pick up on Sterling not being a great guy. She seemed oblivious to who he actually was and more into him as a tv personality and her mistletoe guy.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3 Takeaways⁣⁣ 1. This was a funny, cute, watch again and again to get those holiday feels.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2. I enjoyed the Mistletoe Diner as a backdrop for the movie. In a small town the local diners are often the hot spots so it was very realistic this is where most people hang out.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3. I want to find a small town with as many activities and events that they have going on each year. #hallmarkworkouts

What are some food ideas that will nourish the next version of you. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Fitness- How many days a week do you want to workout, what do you enjoy doing?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Time- How do you use your time? When are you wasting time in your day that you 
could be doing something that fulfills you.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ * Social- How do you want to approach social media, meet-ups with friends, going to workout classes, or other events in your area. ⁣

Building your vital energy (ojas)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Where can we add in nature into our day- even if that means parking farther away, or walking your mail to a mailbox down the road from you.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Where can you build in your me time? If not at the end of the day, can you do 30 minutes at the start of your day?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Laugher- enough said⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Activities that make you happy- this is why I love my 10 minute Ayurvedic medicine tips. Set your timer for 2pm and when it goes off ask yourself what you need and do it. Put this in your work calendar we all have 10 minutes we can take for us most days of the week.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Creativity- maybe this won't happen on a daily basis but how can you add creativity on your weekends. Maybe once a month you sign-up for a new class to express yourself.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Sleep 7-8 hours a night. Set your bedtime and stick to it!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Foods to enjoy- honey, dates, almonds, coconut, avocado, ghee.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ✨Oil your skin inside and out- cook with oils and add a hint of sesame oil to your skin

Picture Perfect Workout & Review ⁣ ⁣ What worked?⁣ The idea of work life balance has been a theme this year in Hallmark movies. I think it’s a great theme for the year as I think s0 many people are feeling out of balance in work and life. We are in a go go go society and I love that Hallmark is trying to do their part on shedding light on balance. I do believe in balance in the fact not everything will be perfectly balanced but there will be some weeks when you need to work more, others where you will be needed at home more. A perfect 50/50 split is not realistic for most. Which I also think Hallmark is doing with the movies I’ve seen thus far in 2019.⁣ ⁣ What didn’t work?⁣ Not sure the actual app David created will work. I like the premise of it how we can give more during the holidays but keeping it local to their small town doesn’t seem that helpful. I know in my small town of 500 people there are only so many people to really make that idea fly.⁣ ⁣ 3 Takeaways⁣ 1. Hallmark seems to be playing up the uncles needing to parent the kids of their sibling and spouse who have passed away. While very noble we’ve already had two of those plot lines in the first 6 movies.⁣ ⁣ 2. We’ve also had two meet-cutes that started the same way. A misunderstanding of who the person was they are fun but now in 6 movies we’ve seen that twice. In Merry & Bright this also happened.⁣ ⁣ 3. 3. I loved the grandma and the nephew in this movie. They both stole the scenes when they were in them. Be on the look-out for those two!

Holiday For Heroes Movie Workout & Review ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Background on the movie⁣⁣⁣ We were four minutes into the movie and I was already hooked. The owner of a small town coffee shop has a brother in the military and he gave the coffee to someone in his military regime. He then wrote letter correspondents to the coffee shop owner to keep in touch & thank her for sending her the coffee. The military leading man was from Minnesota which of course I loved. Not going to lie I had a glass or two of wine, got distracted during this movie, looking at what was the most poisonous snake in the world!?! Just to find out it was clickbait and never really found the answer, lol.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What worked?⁣⁣⁣ The military connection and writing letters to correspond with each other. When the leading man was released from active military duties he was stationed in the same town of the woman he had been corresponding with for a few years. ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What didn’t work?⁣⁣⁣ At times it might have been a little slow as within the first 20 minutes you basically had the movie figured out and were just waiting for the rest of the movie to unfold.⁣⁣ ⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 3 Takeaways⁣⁣⁣ 1. The leading military actor was originally from Minnesota in the movie which of course was a highlight as a fellow Minnesotan.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 2. I love a good small town coffee shop and thought this one was decorated to the nine’s and top notch service knowing everyone’s names and honored military participants.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ 3. Every year the Hallmark military based movie always makes me stop and appreciate how much our military sacrifices for us in the US and their families as well. I can see the dedication, sacrifice, and honor everyone has and I want to give everyone currently serving in the military a huge thank you from my family to yours.
