Creating Seasonal Themes for Your Life

Creating Seasonal Themes for Your Life from an Ayurvedic & Yogic Lens

I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought I wanted to put a yoga and Ayurvedic spin on it. I find often that doing a word of the year I often have forgotten the word by April and it often doesn't resonate by December. This idea seemed to ring true to my cyclical and innate drive to live a life connected to the seasons.

When I pause and ask myself what am I craving right now, a few ideas came forward. I wanted to share this idea with you in case it's something that resonates with you.

Winter Practices I'm leaning into:

  • Sauna Season
  • Salt cave
  • Yin Yoga Practice
  • Castor Oil Packs
  • Yoni Steams
  • Journaling and pulling Oracle Cards
  • Meditation in the early morning hours
  • Celebrate the New & Full Moon with ceremonies.
  • Release the need to be on social media
  • Strength train 3x a week
  • Play tennis 2x a week

I rest deeply and nourish my inner world.

A mantra that I will recall throughout the day.
