Oat Straw, & Raspberry Leaf Decoction
This is a soothing and gentle beverage that is a beneficial nerving & nutritive. (I’m using oat tops in the video as that’s all I have left but have found that works well if that’s what you have one hand)
Raspberry leaves also have been known to help ease uterus contractions around menstrual time.
Ingredients
I like to purchase my herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs
1/4 cup Oat Straw
1/8 cup Raspberry Leaves
1 pinch of Rose Petals
Small pinch of cinnamon
Add ingredients to a quart jar. Fill with boiled water and cover with airtight lid.
Allow to infuse for at least
2 hours to overnight. (I like to infuse for at least 8 hours)
Strain and you can add discarded herbs to your garden as compost and enjoy.
