Why Breathwork is Important

Stephanie
Stephanie Esser is a M.A.Ed., RYT-200, Certified Breathing Coach, Founder of Balancing Elephants, and creator of the BE Buddy® breathing pillow.
Stress and anxiety rates are at an all-time high. The connection between breathing and stress is why we need to pay attention to how we breathe.
I provide science-based tools and methodologies to enhance physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing through breathwork and relaxation techniques.
My focus is on breathing mechanics (activating the primary breathing muscles) and the psychology of breathing habits.
With awareness and practice, you will learn how to breathe well to stress less, enhance focus and energy, and feel present and connected to yourself and the world around you.
One of my favorite quotes is from mindfulness expert Jon Kabat-Zinn, who stated,
“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn how to surf.”
My mission is to help kids and adults learn how to surf through the waves of life one breath at a time.
