Dr. Jaime Knopman, is a double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, Director of Fertility Preservation at CCRM Fertility New York, and author of the forthcoming book Own Your Fertility: From Egg Freezing to Surrogacy, How to Take Charge of Your Body and Your Future, (Countryman Press, Jan 13th, 2026). Known nationally as the “Queen of Egg Freezing,” Dr. Knopman’s approach to reproductive care is both scientific and radically human—she’s on a mission to help women understand the real biological and hormonal shifts that affect fertility, including the one almost no one talks about: perimenopause.
