Welcome to the Peaceful Power Podcast I’m your host Andrea Claassen. Today I will be talking with Lindsey Heiserman on her confessions as a personal trainer.

In today’s conversation Lindsey and I discuss her fabulous blog Confessions of a Personal Trainer. I love her blog and her realness. She talks about eating the cookies, not always being motivated, and shows you personal trainers are just like you. We have our own issues around health most of the time we’ve worked through them and want to show you how it’s possible. Lindsey is a fellow Minnesotan who I cannot wait for you gals to listen in our our conversation below.

Bio

Lindsey is a life coach and personal trainer with over a decade of experience working with a wide variety of clients. She completed her undergraduate degree at Truman State University with a focus in exercise physiology and emphasis in psychology. Over the last ten years she has held a variety of positions including a leadership role as an assistant department head, has taught group personal training classes, and connected with clients in individual sessions. In 2013 she graduated from Adler Graduate School with a Master’s in Psychotherapy and an emphasis in Career Coaching. She also holds a Professional Life Coaching certification and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
When not working with clients you can find her training for obstacle course racing, adventuring and traveling around the United States, hanging out with her fur babies, drinking coffee, and hunkering down for the upcoming cold Minnesota winter.

Eat a cookie or a brownie on a Wednesday. What that means break a food rule. If you usually indulge on a Friday night with a glass of wine & pizza (cough, cough Andrea) then do that on a Tuesday. Break your own “rules”.
