Celebrating 10 Years of Everyday Ayurveda: A Conversation with Kate O'Donnell

Ayurveda teaches us that food is medicine, and no one brings that wisdom to life quite like Kate O'Donnell. In this special episode of the Peaceful Power Podcast, I sit down with Kate to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her beloved Everyday Ayurveda Cookbook. Over the past decade, her approach to Ayurvedic cooking has inspired countless people to bring balance to their plates and their lives—one spice, one seasonal shift, and one mindful meal at a time.

In our conversation, Kate shares insights on how her cooking philosophy has evolved, the timeless principles of Ayurvedic nutrition, and why simple, seasonal food remains the foundation of vibrant health. Whether you’re an Ayurvedic enthusiast or just starting to explore this ancient way of eating, this episode will leave you inspired to step into your kitchen with intention and a deeper connection to your body’s needs.

Tune in for a heartfelt discussion on honoring tradition while making Ayurveda accessible for modern life—and, of course, a few of Kate’s favorite kitchen tips from the past 10 years!
