used to think I could outwork my hormones.
If I just trained harder, pushed more, checked more off the list- I’d stay in control.
Then perimenopause arrived quietly… until it didn’t.
First came the 3 a.m. wake-ups, my mind spinning while my body begged for rest.
Then, out of nowhere, a calf pull the kind of injury I never used to get.
I started realizing my body wasn’t betraying me… it was asking me to listen.
So I did.
I slowed down. I brought in yin yoga, Ayurveda, and strength training that honored my cycle and my season.
And something amazing happened- my energy steadied, the scale started to shift, and most importantly, I began to feel in rhythm with myself again.
Now, that’s what I help other women do. To stop fighting perimenopause, but flow with it.
Because when you understand your body’s wisdom, you stop trying to “fix” her and start partnering with her instead.
