A Royal Christmas Crush

Elephants in the room Prince Henry’s parents look the same age as him and the accents in this movie were a choice 😬

We have seen this ice castle now in several movies and the slide scene in all of them. It is neat but I think one ice castle movie is plentiful. I do love that the leading lady said she was from Minnesota which always wins points in this Minnesotans book!

This is movie 3 for Stephen this year and my favorite performance of his by far, even with the accent. We are also getting lots of shirtless Hallmark hunks this year and I’m not mad about it 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I know they are a couple in real life after meeting on the film. I didn’t see chemistry between the leads during the movie. Overall it was a bit boring and a rating for me of:

Take Me Back To Christmas

I usually can tell in the first 20 minutes how I’m going to enjoy a movie and I must say I was all in after the initial 20 minutes it captivated me. The Christmas decorations in this movie were fabulous. Her closet in New York wow 🤩 what girl wouldn’t want that closet 💖

Some movies feel like they drag on and on and this one I couldn’t believe I was down to the last 30 minutes. I didn’t have many notes as I was really into the movie!

I did really enjoy the elf. I thought she brought a fun, spunky energy to the movie. The mother daughter scenes were so good and definitely will make you 😭.

I really enjoyed this movie and thought it was one of the better alternate universe lives Hallmark movie.

A Lifelong Love

Well maybe it was because I just saw the Barbie movie which was fantastic this was the opposite.

I would skip this one if you tend to agree with my takes. It’s pretty slow, boring and I really had a tough time getting connected to any character.

The 1:1 basketball scene was comical only because nobody plays one on one full court 😂

The acting wasn’t quite up to Hallmark standards everyone seemed to be a it stiff and a bit overacting maybe so felt off.

The diner was super cute. Very 50’s style that was probably the high point of the movie for me.

I couldn’t care less about the mystery they were on and how they discovered the answer to their mystery was absolutely ridiculous. It was right in plain sight the entire time 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know that might have been the point.

Since the slow, boring ones are my least favorite.

LEarn My Story

My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not linear, but cyclical—like the seasons, like the womb. I help women reclaim their vitality through the sacred tools of Ayurveda, embodied movement, and intuitive rituals drawn from Mother Nature herself.

After the birth of my first son in 2016, Ayurveda became more than a practice—it became my lifeline. The postpartum window cracked me open and reoriented my path, deepening my devotion to supporting women in every season of life—from the fertile soil of postpartum to the sacred shifts of midlife.

I’m also the host of the Peaceful Power Podcast, where I explore how ancient wisdom meets modern life, and the author of two books on cyclical living—Divine Body Wisdom and Ayurvedic Approach to Healing Your Menstrual Cycle.

When I’m not in sacred space with clients, you can find me playing tennis, watching Hallmark mysteries, sipping my morning coffee with reverence, or adventuring on nature trails with my two boys and husband.
