Embracing Stillness & Strength: The Transformative Power of Yoga with Kristina Masyte

In this week’s episode of the Peaceful Power Podcast, I’m joined by Kristina Masyte, a yoga teacher and empath whose journey through darkness, illness, and deep healing has shaped her into a gentle yet powerful guide for others seeking peace within chaos.

Kristina’s relationship with yoga began as a lifeline a practice that helped her manage her autoimmune disease, heal through the pain of loss, and navigate the isolation of long Nordic winters where the sun doesn’t rise for months. Over time, yoga became more than movement; it became a sacred space for self-compassion, emotional resilience, and truth-telling.

Her teaching is inspired by the Norwegian concept of “kos”  a cozy, nurturing way of being and blends Yin and Vinyasa yoga to create balance between effort and ease, strength and surrender. With the support of props, breath, and intention, Kristina helps her students reconnect to stillness, soften their inner edges, and listen deeply to what their bodies and hearts need.

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to find calm in the midst of life’s storms, this conversation will remind you that healing begins in the quiet moments and that stillness isn’t emptiness, but a return to your truest self.

Kristina
I am an introvert and empath. The practice of yoga has been transformative for me, leading me to embrace a healthier lifestyle, manage my autoimmune disease more effectively, and experience significant improvements in my mental health.

Yoga has helped me in hardships like suicidal attempts of the beloved one or overcoming lockdown while living alone in the place where sun does not rise up for 4 months.

Yoga made me stronger, more resilient and observant to my negative patterns. It also thought me to be less reactive and say truth in a fierce but yet loving way.
I guide people in slowing down and surrendering amidst the chaos of their daily lives,

fostering a transformative yoga practice focused on self-compassion and introspection.

I strongly believe that by embracing moments of relaxation and stillness, we can deepen our self-awareness, paving the way for clearer communication of our needs and self realization.
Kristina Masyte- inspired by the Norwegian concept of “kos”, yin and vinyasa yoga styles, I offer a form of yoga that focuses on gentle movements, deep stretching, and calming breathwork to help you unwind and create a nurturing environment. We often use of props like blankets, bolsters, and cushions to enhance comfort and encourage deep relaxation.
